OHFA Board Approves Financing for Six Developments
to Create or Preserve Affordable Housing

COLUMBUS, OH – Today, the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) Board approved financing from various programs for six housing developments to create or preserve affordable housing units throughout the state.

Developments that received approval for funding are:

NORTHEAST

Parkway Lofts: Co-developers, Spire Development, Inc., and County Corp, received approval for $300,000 in Housing Development Assistance Program funds, and a $1.75 million Housing Development Loan. The project will construct 43 new units for families in Canton (Stark County).

Ridgeville Farms: Co-developers, SLK Capital Holdings, LLC and Lakewood Senior Citizens, Inc., received approval for a $1.75 million Housing Development Loan for the construction of 52 units for older Ohioans in North Ridgeville (Lorain County).

Sunrise Neighborhood Living: CHN Housing Partners received approval for $300,000 in Housing Development Assistance Program funds, and a $1.25 million Housing Development Loan for the rehabilitation of 11 properties, providing 36 units for Ohioans at risk of homelessness in Lorain (Lorain County).

Village at Town Center II: Testa Enterprises, Inc. received approval for a $1.5 million Housing Development Loan for the construction of 53 units for older Ohioans in Tallmadge (Summit County).

SOUTHWEST

Rockdell Villas: Co-developers, Miami Valley Housing Opportunities, Inc., and Oberer Companies, received approval for $300,000 in Housing Development Assistance Program funds, and a $2.5 million Housing Development Loans for the construction of 40 new units for individuals in Fairborn (Greene County). Upon completion, TCN Behavioral Health will provide residents with comprehensive behavioral health services.

Spaeth and Kelly Hall: Co-developers, Over-the-Rhine Community Housing and Tender Mercies, Inc., received approval for $300,000 in Housing Development Assistance Program funds and a $1.75 million Housing Development Loan for the rehabilitation and new construction of 30 studio units in Cincinnati (Hamilton County). The development will serve formerly homeless individuals.
